Center
Need a brush-up on your writing skills? Are your texts just beyond easy comprehension? How’s your critical thinking? Your vocabulary? You can improve any of these you’d like to, on your own time, in the Skills Center. Our friendly staff will assist you in using materials, computer programs or equipment, or figuring out what a passage or a question means.
The Skills Center is open M-Th 7:00 a.m.-9:15 p.m., F 7:30 a.m.-3:45 p.m., and S 10 a.m.-2 p.m. No appointment needed. Call 992-7008 for more information.
Tutoring Center
Improve your understanding of class material! Tutoring works! Please stop by the Tutoring Center in the Library/Learning Resource Center (800). We provide walk-in tutoring for math, accounting, physics, chemistry and English. We provide by-appointment tutoring for most other subjects. Please call the desk at 992-7000 x25386 or drop by to make an appointment. Hours:

Writing Center
Are you struggling to get started on your paper or develop your ideas? Are you still not sure how to formulate a thesis statement? The Writing Center can help. Our tutors assist students at any stage of the writing process, including planning, pre-writing, drafting, and revision, including grammatical and mechanical problems. Though we will not correct your essays for you, we will help you to develop your own editing and proofreading skills. Hours:
